Project Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is partnering with Manatee County, the Cities of Palmetto and Bradenton, and the Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in conducting the Central Manatee Network Alternatives Analysis (CMNAA) Study in Manatee County. The CMNAA study is defining projects that support mobility, safety, economic development, and quality of life goals shared by the partners. The goal of the study is to facilitate identification and construction (or implementation) of future transportation project alternatives and programs to provide study area residents safer and improved access to jobs, schools, shopping, and social services, and provide improved regional mobility. The study area is within the Cities of Bradenton and Palmetto and in unincorporated Manatee County, Florida.
