Project Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway safety project along State Road (SR) 90/SW 8 Street at SW 157 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Widening northbound lane to provide an exclusive left turn lane and an exclusive free flow right turn lane Providing eastbound and westbound acceleration lanes Upgrading traffic speed signage Enhancing bike lanes Constructing driveway at Lincoln Marti Child Care Enhancing curb and gutters Repaving and restriping the roadway Adding new guardrail MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (MOT): Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will have minimal effects on traffic.
